Who is the KC Wellness Warrior?
My name is Jennifer Ward and I am the KC Wellness Warrior.
I am a 2014 board certified graduate of The WellSpring School of Allied Health in Kansas City, and am a NASM certified personal trainer.
I believe that massage is mind, body and spirit healthcare. My approach is intuitive based and covers all aspect of my clients needs. I am passionate about education, whether I am helping clients learn more about self-care or expanding my own knowledge about massage therapy. I specialize in deep tissue, hot stone, pregnancy, orthopedic cupping and therapeutic massage. Other modalities offered are Gua Sha and Myofascial cupping.
I have been a powerlifter since 2016 and started competing in 2017. Finding the every day value of strength improved my life exponentially. I found that through strength training, I was able to feel healthier, be more empowered, and function throughout my day without the "normal" aches and pains I had been experiencing for years. In 2020, I became a NASM certified personal trainer so I could bring my experience to people who want to get stronger, fully function in their lives without pain, and gain a more empowered frame of mind.
When not seeing clients, I am busy at home with my partner, two boys, and two cats. They keep me on my toes!
